See just 18 months ago, I was in the same boat in between contracts in my career and thought it would be a great opportunity to kick start my fashion business and finally sped some time at home dictating my own hours and spending quality time with my three children. To this I knew that I needed to have my own distinct style and communicate this consistently to my ideal clients.
One day, as I was trailing through lots of You Tube videos, It suddenly dawned on me that I was wasting so much valuable time and I was not making more money or spending quality time with my children. The few tips I did get were at best generic.
Deep down inside, I knew that the key to nailing my look was being true to who I was and what I wanted to do in the world. I started looking inwards to when I felt the most confident in my own skin and to what actually suited me as a person.
Don’t be like I was wasting precious time going through other people’s ideas of what I should wear without taking into consideration who I was, what I liked and what I looked like
